Seeing the world open up through a child’s eyes is one of the biggest perks of being a parent. When our son came along, Mark and I were already seasoned travellers who had travelled for fun, for work, and for education, and along the way, we learned a few things about making the experience go much more smoothly. But all of that went out the window when we started travelling as a family, and we had to learn new ropes, let go of some old ropes, and learn to use some other ones differently.
We started travelling with our highly spirited sprog when he was four months old. As an expat family, we didn’t have a choice – and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. We’re here to share our experiences of strategies for travelling with babies, toddlers and kids, and inspire other parents to take the leap and get out into the world with their kids.
